I was wond’ring where everybody went,
warmer weather, seems like they’ve up ‘n left &
since I’m new here, maybe I missed the trend..
on the water, everything’s different,
you move much slower, drift out and back again,
I’d like to go there, up with a couple friends
+++ on the lake, everybody’s got a little place on the lake,
+++ half a million houses on 10,000 lakes
+++ and in the summer that’s where they stay…

it’s so damn hot here, I almost miss the snow,
